Most of the Excel stuff was really easy today.

I thought the Excel project was due today, but when I got to class I found out that it wasn't. :)

I was sick yesterday, but I'm better today.

MyITLab makes it very, very difficult to do things in Excel. I really don't like it.
I've had a long day, I've been up since 6, went to the gym, classes, and now I have to go to the bank, my house, find something to eat for lunch and dinner, and then be back here by 6:15 for 2 meetings back to back before I go to Mitchell Center clean-up at 9p.m.

Hm..I think I might get Greek Fest food.
Yum.

I have not had a great day. I'm in a disagreement with my boyfriend, the antibiotics that I am taking are making me feel sick, I couldn't fall asleep and sleep well last night no matter what I did, and I didn't get a very good grade on my biology test. The good news is that I made a 98 in my Word project for computer class and I only have to work 2 hours this weekend instead of the normal 10-28. I think I'm going to lay around and watch movies and hope I start feeling better.

Today, in Computer class, I started working with Microsoft Excel, I think it's a lot more difficult to use Excel, than Wordl; mostly because I've never used Excel, but I've spent a great deal of time using Word. I can honestly say that I'm very worried about the Excel project..

Today has been really long. I loved my psychology class, but my biology class was very long. My biology teacher just went over things she had already taught the class or that I had learned in high school. I had a whole lot of trouble staying awake. I'd forgotten my binder of notes at home, but I sent 30 minutes last night printing out notes, three-hole punching them and etc. so that I would have them for today.

Today in computer, I was making Tables of Figures, adding Citations, footnotes, captions, and endnotes; viewing side-by-side, and synchronisly scrolling.

I'm off for now.

Today, we messed around with tables in MS Word 2007..I didn't like it. I had to follow everything in my book and it took me quite a while.
But I finished with it, so that's the good thing.
We also did Clip Art and Word Art..eh, they aren't my forte.
I'm tired and I have another online quiz to take today.
That makes it 1 test, 2 quizzes, and class for me today..what a long day.
I've got a meeting tonight and I need to go grocery shopping and clothes shopping..I'm not really looking forward to any of it..

October 1st, 2009

Well, today I was 5 minutes late to my first class because when I went to the DMV to get my car tag, they told us that we didn't have eveything we needed. Yet, we had been two days before and been told exactly what we needed and why. Now, we have 4 things to get the previous owner to sign.

Anyways, I'm finishing up in computer class. The exercises in Word today were pretty hard, but I got through them. I'm never going to use this stuff. My manual methods are actually much faster, most of the time.

I'm tired, so I'm signing off for now.

Today, I worked in Microsoft Word 2007. It was horrible. The MyITLAb instructions were horrible. In one case I did everything right and ended up with the right result, but I hadn't used the key commands CTRL+HOME. I was so frustrated. I did learn quite a few things today, but I don't know if I will ever have a use for a lot of them, as I am not going into a field where I will use a word processor very much.

September 10th 2009

In the first excercise, we were asked to open Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access. We were then asked to open the help for each.

In the second exercise, we were asked to open and rename a document in Microsoft Word.

In the third exercise, we were asked to open a document in Microsoft Word. We were then asked to copy, find, replace, cut, and type text within the document.

I then took the online quiz for today. Which was really easy for me. :)

Today is September 3rd. For me it's been a long day and this is my final class of the day.
